A career opportunity!

From its establishment in 1967, Hungerford Hill has been a leader in the ‘new wave’ of contemporary Hunter Valley wineries. The company’s owning family has recently added the legendary Dalwood and Sweetwater Hunter vineyard estates to the portfolio. Hungerford Hill’s landmark cellar-door architecture, multi- award winning Muse Restaurant and a diverse calendar of on and off-site events, attest the company’s passion for continuous engagement with its customers.

Outstanding winemaking, and the group’s market-relevant product range take its consumers on a modern Australian wine adventure which progresses from Hunter Classics through cool-climate Tumbarumba, Hilltops and beyond. See: ;  ;

 Hungerford Hill is seeking a Sydney-based National Sales Manager to lead its growth across its diverse sales channels. Key responsibilities will include: establishing and achieving volume and profit sales budgets; personally handling a range of national and state accounts; leading the company’s sales team and managing regional wholesaler/distributors. Experience in developing and managing key export markets would be welcomed.

To be the successful applicant, you will certainly require four years’ experience in a similar  sales leadership role, excellent current NSW trade relationships and a proven understanding of the key drivers of the current national wine marketplace.  To adapt and develop appropriate routes to market for the company’s three estates, you will also need a sound command of super- premium wine marketing  principles.  As a key member of the company’s senior management team, you will enjoy the autonomy which comes with responsibility and an opportunity to participate in creating and directing the company’s future sales growth. You will be a confident leader and presenter and have a real passion for wine.

The successful applicant will be offered an attractive salary package commensurate with the responsibilities of the role.
